My PhD thesis, entitled “The Hadith of ʿĀʾišah’s Marital Age: A Study in the Evolution of Early Islamic Historical Memory”, is now publicly available. The full unabridged version can be accessed here:
I originally submitted both an abridged and unabridged version of my thesis for examination, and my examiners advocated for the unabridged version to be submitted thereafter to Bodleian Library, but unfortunately, I was obliged to submit the abridged version thereto. The abridged version omits half of my methodology chapter and most of my textual-critical footnotes from the ICMA chapter, among other things. Thus, I wanted to make the full version available here.
Happy reading!

Thus, I have broken up the diagram into the following sub-diagrams.
The tradition ascribed to Hišām b. ʿUrwah:
The tradition ascribed to Ibn Šihāb al-Zuhrī:
The tradition ascribed to ʾAbū ʾIsḥāq al-Sabīʿī:
The tradition ascribed to Sulaymān b. Mihrān al-ʾAʿmaš:
The tradition ascribed to Muḥammad b. ʿAmr:
The tradition ascribed to ʾIsmāʿīl b. ʾabī Ḵālid:
The remaining versions of the hadith:
